SHORT TERM ACCOMMODATION Terms & Conditions
Launceston Homes Away From Home, Host and you the Guest (person making the booking).
- TERM: The term of the AGREEMENT shall begin on the arrival date and end on the departure date. The property will be ready for occupancy by the checkin time associated with your booking on the arrival date and must be vacated no later than the checkout departure time on the departure date.
- LIMITED OCCUPANCY: Only the approved number of guests are permitted to stay. If this is breached and more guests stay than approved on your booking an extra fee of $15.00 per person per night will be charged to you.
- BOOKING CHARGE: The Accommodation and a security deposit payable as follows
- PAYMENTS: The following payments are due at the time of reservation:
- a. 25% of accommodation fee to secure reservation. The further 75% to be paid 14 days prior to your stay. (Air BNB Bookings are all paid within the Air BNB platform so they are not subject to these payment terms).
- b. Security Deposit $500.00 will be pre-authorised to your card 1 day prior to your arrival and held up to 4 days post your stay unless released prior to this date when property has been cleaned and checked. (Air BNB Booking are not subject to a security deposit)
- NON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE: All guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks), or create inconvenience for neighbours nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes.
- CARE OF PREMISES/DAMAGES: NO PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING PERMITTED. Automatic eviction plus forfeit of deposit and rent if violated. Guest agrees to pay the Host for any damages to furnishings, household items that occur as a result of Guests occupancy. This will include payment of any additional cleaning charges over $300.00 incurred due to Guests occupancy, this includes additional cleaning of linen if bed linen is left in unreasonable condition.
- HOSTS RIGHTS: Guest agrees that if the conditions and limitations set forth herein are not met, Host shall have the right to cancel this agreement and may enter the Property, either by statutory proceedings or by force, to inspect the Property and ensurethat Guest has vacated the Property. All monies paid by Guest shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
- INDEMNITY CLAUSE: Guest hereby agrees to Indemnify and hold the Host harmless from any and all claims, including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Guests use of Property or the items of personal property provided therein. Guest assumes all risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities and will hold Host harmless with respect thereto.
- NO SUBLETTING: Guest may not sublet or assign this agreement for all or any part of the premises.
- REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: The Property is let with the Hosts furniture and household furnishings. The Host shall not be responsible for providing additional furnishings or equipment not presently available in the Property. Guest will report any maintenance issues immediately to the Host. The owner will make every effort to repair and/or replace any equipment that is not working properly but cannot guarantee that all equipment is in good operating order at all times and no rate adjustments or refund will be made for equipment or appliance failures.
- CANCELLATIONS 100% of paid prepayments refundable when cancelled 14 day(s) before arrival or earlier. After 14 days prior to your booking date 0% is refundable.
11.a Non-Refundable Bookings – these are charged at a l0% less rate but are non refundable booking. The cleaning fee is refunded back to the guest should a cancellation be required. - PARKING: Parking is only in the nominated parking associated with your booking. Please check your guest information and instructions or message the host to clarify if you need to.
Guest and Host of this Accommodation Agreement, acknowledge that they will comply with the terms of this agreement, and each assumes the responsibility for the obligations set forth herein.
Guest acknowledges receipt of the House Rules.
Guest acknowledges that they have read, accept, and agree to the terms set forth.
HOUSE RULES:
- Respect to neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, no noise restriction applies after 10.00pm.
- Guests are to be respectful of the home and the property and to take care not to cause damage to the home or items in and around the home.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning all used dishes used prior to departure of the property.
- Place all rubbish and recycling into bins provided on site.
CHECK OUT PROCEDURES:
- a. CHECK-OUT NO LATER THAN CHECK OUT TIME
- b. All furniture should be returned to its original location if anything has been moved.
- c. Remove and dispose of all food items from the refrigerator and pantry/cabinets purchased by guests.
- d. Turn off lights, heaters.
- e. If provided with keys put keys and/or remotes back in the same place they were on your arrival before departing the property. A key replacement fee will be charged to guest if the key is not left at the property.
